Plain and Simple Delivery

simpleFLOORS shipping provides direct delivery with added incentives. We provide curbside delivery to your home, business and job locations or pickup at one of our 500 shipping terminals across the continental U.S. and Canada. Call our direct hotline to request a delivery quote for your floor and it will be shipped to any destination you choose.

Product-Protected Packaging

All simpleFLOORS deliveries are carefully packaged and insured. Our products are carton packaged individually to make home delivery simple and secure. There's no need to unload the full pallet all at once. Your flooring will arrive on a pre-wrapped pallet of individual cartons with an average weight of 42 pounds. Once the flooring arrives at your home, you can simply offload it carton-by-carton. simpleFLOORS' exclusive full-service claims-handling provides hassle-free protection in the event of a damage mishap. We have a 99.7% damage-free delivery success with our floors. In the event of shipping damage, we file, follow-up and collect all claims for you. You receive immediate replacement product or credit from us on the damage. It's that simple.

Placing and Verifying Your Order

Each customer is responsible for the accuracy and quantity of their own individual orders. After placing an order, you will be sent an email confirmation. This confirmation is your receipt of items purchased. It is your responsibility to verify the order for accuracy and contact us with any discrepancies or changes within 3 hours of placing the order. After this time, the order will be in processing mode and you will not be guaranteed the ability to change the order.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking numbers for your order are provided via email a couple of days after the shipment leaves our warehouse. The contact information of the delivery company is provided in the tracking number email as well. All communication related to the delivery status and its scheduling is facilitated with the transportation company. You don't necessarily have to track the order, as we require the delivery company to call you a day or two prior to your shipment being ready for delivery. On delivery day, your order will arrive curbside.

Sales Tax

If you're ordering online, sales tax may apply to your shipping. SimpleFLOORS collects sales tax for all orders shipping to California, Canada, Georgia and Texas. Additional taxes may apply depending on your local tax codes and laws, but are not collected by our company. Please check with your local state tax board concerning reporting taxable internet purchases.

If you are a contractor or retailer with a valid California, Canada, Georgia or Texas resale license, please contact our sales department for details on utilizing your resale permit to waive the sales tax. Regarding shipments within the state of California, Canada, Georgia and Texas, the tax rates are based upon your county's current tax rate.

Items sent to APO/FPO military addresses and states other than California, Canada, Georgia and Texas are not subject to sales taxes.

State and local sales tax rates are subject to change at any time.

After Receiving Your Shipment:

  • Be sure that you inspect the outside of the cartons for any signs of damage. If the product is damaged, the cartons will show distress and be torn.
  • Count the cartons to make sure they are all there. Verify all your cartons to make sure it matches the list we provide on the driver's delivery slip.
  • Make a note on the delivery slip for the amount of any damaged cartons or the amount of missing cartons.
  • Sign the delivery slip and confirm receipt of your products, regardless of whether it is damaged or not.
  • If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, call us to arrange for an order replacement.

We replace your product and work with the delivery companies on shipping claims. We provide a full-service in filing your claim, given that you sign for the damage upon receipt of the shipment. If you do not sign for shipping damage on your receipt at the time of delivery, we lose our ability to file a claim with the delivery company on your behalf. If this happens, we won't be able to provide you with replacement material for free, and you'll have to file a claim with the shipping company on your own.
